In brief, TRIO is a program that provides eligible students with one-on-one assistance, including tutoring in academic subjects and mentoring. You can apply online or by visiting the TRIO office on the second floor of the Caroline Center. Eligibility involves being one of these three:

• A first-generation college student (e.g. neither of your parents have college degrees)
• lower income
• possessing a disability

Remember, you only need to be one of those three, not all three.
